Moonglade Integrative
Who We Are
Welcome to Moonglade Integrative. How did I come by the name “moonglade'“? The definition of moonglade is the reflection of the moon on water. I have always found this sight to be soothing, spiritual, and evidence of the divine. The brilliance of the reflected light is representative of the balance between light and dark. Even in our darkest times there is light and hope.
When I decided to start my own business, my primary goal is to provide care that treats physical needs but also the needs of the whole person: physical, emotional, social and spiritual. I want my patients to understand and explore their emotional, social, and spiritual health and how they affect their physical health and vice versa. Balance and interaction of the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs build a stronger and healthier person. Health is not only the absence of disease, it is an overall state of well-being.
About Me
I’ve lived in Garrett County for the majority of my life. I met my husband and we decided to cross the Mason-Dixon line into Pennsylvania. I have three wonderful children, three cats, and a love of nature and anything wool! In my spare time I enjoy spinning wool on my spinning wheel and drop spindle. I’m also an avid knitter. My next adventure is restoring my union loom and making rugs.
I have 19 years in healthcare at the moment. I started as a certified nurses assistant and worked my way to med-tech, associate level nurse, then my bachelors degree and currently I have my Masters of Science in Nursing. I am certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and have been practicing for the past 7 years.
I look forward to meeting you and developing a path to better health and wellness.
